About TradeOpto

We take the paperwork out of building and maintaining property.

TradeOpto turns what people see on site into scopes, estimates and work orders that are priced correctly and approved the first time. We build it for the facilities teams who manage buildings and the contractors who do the work.

Company

Why we exist.

  • The problem

The built environment is a $12 trillion industry that still runs on retyping. Site notes are copied into spreadsheets, re-priced by estimators and re-entered into legacy software. Scope gets missed, costs drift and every job takes longer than it should.

  • What we built

TradeOpto sits between the people in the field and the systems of record. It organizes what they capture, prices it against the right catalog and sends approved work into the tools the business already runs.

  • Where we are going

We want this to become the standard way physical work is scoped, priced and approved, with the administrative overhead handled by software so people can spend their time on the work itself.

How we build

Close the gap between seeing the job and doing it.

When the paperwork takes care of itself, the people who build get their evenings back and the people who pay get numbers they can trust.

  • Field first

The product starts where the work starts: on site, out loud, with a phone in one hand. Everything else follows from that moment.

  • Numbers you can defend

A number is only useful if someone can stand behind it. Every line is matched to a catalog and priced from a rate card, never from a guess.

  • Two languages, one set of numbers

Crews and customers do not always share a language. An estimate should read naturally to both, with the numbers untouched.

Our story

Built by contractors, not software companies.

TradeOpto started on jobsites, not in a pitch deck. We spent years walking properties, pricing work by hand and losing evenings to estimates that should have taken minutes.

Software built for the office never fit the field. So we built something that starts with the walkthrough, speaks the crew’s language and ends with a number the customer is happy to sign.

A new home framed and sheathed, ready for siding

Work with us.

We hire people who have stood on a jobsite and people who can build for them.
